Works for Me Wednesday

This one seems so simple and yet it took me 8 million years to figure it out.  I have started mixing the peanut butter AND the jelly together.  Something about the stickiness of the peanut butter makes the concoction stay in the sandwich.  It is so much less messy and I am such a happy camper when my children aren’t dripping jelly all over my living room while they eat in front of the very television I am trying very hard to not live in front of.  This is my WFMW…go visit Shannon at Rocks in my Dryer for more FABULOUS tricks from other brilliant people (did you like how I sort of gave myself a compliment there, hee hee).

  2. Cute idea- I would have never thought of that!

  3. What an awesome tip! I always hated buying that stuff at the store and has swirls of jelly and peanut butter because you cannot choose your own ratio. I love your suggestion for that reason AND because I HATE sticky kitchen floors! Thanks a bunch!

  5. It’s a Southern mixture that has survived the test of time. Take a fork and squish the jelly and peanut butter together etc. etc. We are teaching the Yankees and Midwesterners so much here in the south it takes a while sometimes but we eventualy learn y’all.. If we can’t teach yi we are sure going to try our best to learn Yi… He he haha!!! Couldnt resist Tamara…

  6. I have made Million PBJ’s over the last 7 years and that never dawned on me… I wonder if it would stop the organic peanut butter from seperating?

  7. Wow, I have never thought of that. Since we make this nearly every day, I am going to try it tomorrow
