I missed (two of) my boys today. I had the complete day without my husband and Oldest Boy. It was not my idea of a fun day. Yes, in some ways, life was a little easier, my instigator was not instigating as he wasn’t with us…but it was VERY good for me realize how much I love his little impishness. He is so hilarious. And to top that off, hubby was gone as well so I was a little bummed. I do believe this was a lesson for me. I needed to have this day away from the both of them to remember why I love being around them. So I missed (two of) my boys today and for that, I am thankful.
