5 Minutes for Mom is hosting another photo contest and I couldn’t resist entering with this hilarious picture of Youngest Girl. Let me paint the picture: Oldest Girl and Oldest Boy decided to get into the mud. First, they painted the tree…with MUD! Then they started throwing mud at each other and were a little worried I might be angry (luckily, I had recently started a mud fight with Oldest Girl and she was not overly worried). So I decide to sit on the picnic table and just observe the goings on in the backyard. It was quite the treat! The Olders decided they were tired of just throwing mud and started painting Youngest Girl with mud FROM HEAD TO TOE! She was covered. It was rubbed into her arms, her neck, her hair (isn’t that supposed to be good for your hair or something????), it was rubbed on her face, even her hands, it was EVERYWHERE. They were having such a good time, I couldn’t resist getting the camera and just documenting the FUN of MUD! So my picture of childhood is just letting yourself go, don’t just stop and smell the roses, dig in the mud, roll in it, love the little things…
******UPDATED******* I MADE IT TO THE FINALS!! PLEASE GO TO 5 MINUTES FOR MOM AND VOTE FOR CHANGING MORE THAN DIAPERS!!!!
